This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Monday-Friday day shift, with some shared call evenings and weekends. Guaranteed 40 hours per week, except during holiday weeks.
Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in endoscopy cases and supporting surgical teams during medical procedures. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, particularly endoscopy cases.
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments.
- Handle surgical instruments and equipment.
- Support the surgical team through effective communication and assistance.
Qualifications, Experience, Certifications, and Licensure
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current TB clearance required.
- Experience in endoscopy preferred.
