Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotating call coverage.
Job Description
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care in the operating room. This role involves the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment, as well as scrubbing for a wide variety of surgical cases. The Surgical Technologist ensures a sterile environment and assists the surgical team throughout various procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain operating room instrumentation and equipment.
- Scrub for a variety of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and effective care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage as required.
Qualifications, Experience, Certifications, and Licensure
- Washington State Surgical Tech license required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification at hire.
