Certified Surgical Technologist – General Surgery

Schedule
Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, including 1:4 weekends with 12-hour shifts.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team specializing in general surgery procedures at our busy Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise as a CST, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Competency in Robotics (DaVinci Xi and SP), Pediatrics, Burns, Trauma, Whipples, and HIPEC is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures, providing necessary surgical instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile environment during operations.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other surgical team members.
- Ensure all equipment is functional and prepare the operating room for surgery.
- Handle specimens appropriately as per surgical protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist required.
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
- Current CST certification.
- Ability to float to specialty teams as needed.
