Schedule/Shift
This position requires a 10-hour Day Shift, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties at least one weekend per month.
Job Description
As a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room, you will play a vital role in assisting surgical teams with various procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing support during surgeries. You will be responsible for preparing surgical instruments, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and assisting with patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures.
- Assist surgical teams with draping and maintaining sterile fields.
- Provide support to surgeons and nursing staff during operations.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with postoperative care, including patient transport and documentation.
Required Experience
Two years of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist is required. Additionally, candidates must have two years of U.S. experience if they are non-U.S. candidates.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
