Surgical Technician - Orthopedic Experience Required

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 to 5 shifts per week with rotating call. Call averages 1-2 days a week and occurs every 4th week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician with expertise in orthopedic procedures. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting the surgical team and ensuring a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during orthopedic surgeries as a first assistant.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have orthopedic experience.
• Certification as an Operating Room Surgical Technician is required.
• Current CPR certification must be maintained.
