Shift: 4-10 hour shifts (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on weekdays.
Job Description
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for cleaning, wrapping, sterilizing, and maintaining the inventory of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies for surgery and various departments and associated clinics. This position requires adherence to strict infection control guidelines and standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and other supplies.
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Participate in quality control and safety audits.
Required Experience
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- 3 years of sterile processing experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification as a Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
- Current Flu Vaccine required; no exemptions.
