Job Description
The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. You will work within a team to support surgical procedures by providing timely and accurate sterilization services.
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
- Prepare surgical trays according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes.
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and proper operation.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure timely instrument availability.
Required Experience
- Experience in sterile processing or related field preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid State License or Certification is required at time of submission.
- Certification in Sterile Processing (e.g., CSPDT) is preferred.
