Schedule/Shift
This role involves rotating shifts between 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm, with a requirement to work at least every other holiday.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in this role will provide care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, potentially floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department as necessary. Candidates must be comfortable with ECG rhythm recognition and competency assessments, including SafeMedicate.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a telemetry and medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes in status as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting.
- Experience in trauma care and travel nursing is preferred but not required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Permanent Ohio license or Compact State License required.
- Active certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS at the time of submission.
