ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift) in Cleveland, Ohio.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Rotating shifts: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the hospital. Travelers must work at least every other holiday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this role will provide care to patients in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. Nursing responsibilities will involve patient monitoring, administering medications, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and providing education to patients and their families. Candidates may be required to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for similar patient populations. Orientation will include ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate training.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate care with other health professionals.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Participate in quality improvement activities within the unit.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty applying for.
• Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Must have active certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact license.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
