ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg Tele (Rotating Shift) in Cleveland, Ohio.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of rotating shifts: 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm. Travelers must work at least every other holiday and be prepared for potential variation to meet operational needs.

Job Description

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg Tele unit, with the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population. The role requires delivering quality patient care, monitoring patients' conditions, and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including telemetry monitoring.
• Assess and document patient health status and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Assist in emergency response and administer medication as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management.

Required Experience

Candidates must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing. A reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
