ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift) in Clinton, South Carolina.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift: 3x12 Nights, from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend coverage required every other weekend, with potential changes based on need.

Job Description

This role involves providing care for inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions, including but not limited to sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease. The patient population may also include cardiac patients requiring IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation. Procedures performed in this unit include vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic drug therapy, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, thoracentesis, cardiac telemetry monitoring, and EKG monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, including IV antiarrhythmic and vasoactive treatments.
• Monitor patient telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services as needed.
• Perform various procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using EPIC EMR.
• 2 years of experience in a cardiac telemetry or similar environment preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license in South Carolina.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
