Schedule

Rotating shifts with night shifts from 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM and day shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care for patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, potentially floating to various units as needed. The role requires a strong background in the specialty and the ability to adapt to the operational needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care on the medical/surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate during orientation
