Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm. Shift assignments may be variable to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients in a hospital setting. The position includes potential floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to respond to patient needs. Nurses must be prepared to work every other holiday, as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and monitor patient progress.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
