PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; 3 shifts per week, with 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The PCU/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care. This position requires assistance to physicians during examinations and procedures, as well as performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice. The RN will promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop appropriate care plans.
• Implement and document nursing care accurately.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests.
• Educate patients and their families regarding conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role.
• Familiarity with cardiac drips, TAVRs, and Watchman mitral clips preferred.
