6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in our state-of-the-art 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, you will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. You will play a crucial role in maximizing the health, function, and quality of life of our patients through tailored rehabilitation programs and ongoing support throughout their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families about recovery processes.
- Document patient care using CERNER EHR.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols, including the use of restraints when necessary.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting.
- Two years of nursing experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification required.
- Active RN license in the state of California.
