Night Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.
Job Description
Join our state-of-the-art, 52-bed hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals experiencing a loss of function due to injury or illness. This role focuses on providing specialized rehabilitation services tailored to patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. You will be part of a team committed to maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke recovery, and more.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Assist with wound care and management for a varied patient base.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using CERNER EHR system.
- Adhere to protocols for patient isolation and management of restraints.
Required Experience
Minimum of 6 months experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting; 2 years preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
Current BLS certification is required.
