Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Rehab Unit will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a 10-bed unit. You will be responsible for delivering compassionate care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The facility uses Cerner for electronic health records, and all necessary equipment is available in patient rooms, including lifts over each bed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
• Assist in rehabilitation therapies and activities.
• Document patient care activities in Cerner.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation or medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
