Registered Nurse - Medical Rehabilitation

Schedule

Night shifts: 4x12-hour schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Requires every other weekend availability.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a medical rehabilitation unit that specializes in cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injuries, amputees, spinal cord injuries, and various neurological disorders. The candidate will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans based on individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress; adjust plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and rehabilitation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in rehabilitation specialty preferred.
• Current West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending submissions accepted).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
