ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Intermediate Care (Night Shift) in Charleston, West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM, weekdays, and every other weekend required.

Job Description

This position is located in a 16-bed Intermediate Care Unit serving a wide variety of patients with both acute and chronic conditions, including cardiac, pulmonary, renal, gastrointestinal issues, and sepsis. The unit provides a great learning environment and offers opportunities to gain experience in telemetry and ventilatory management.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Manage telemetry and ventilator equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and care provided using Cerner charting system.

Required Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous telemetry experience is necessary.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current West Virginia RN license or compact license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management required.
