Schedule/Shift

The schedule is three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend rotations and holiday rotations. No call is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit, primarily focusing on telemetry-monitored patients. The unit is supported by a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department for cardiac surveillance. Responsibilities include managing and interpreting dysrhythmias, titrating drips, and peripheral line care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide peripheral and PICC line management.
• Administer blood products and manage patients on BiPAP/CPAP.
• Perform isolation precautions and use PPE as required.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Cardiac Telemetry experience is essential.
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) is necessary.
• EPIC charting system experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Active nursing license must be in hand at submission.
