Schedule/Shift

12-Hour Night shifts, with weekends as scheduled. Guaranteed 48 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the RN Float Pool provides patient care in an acute care setting with a focus on stepdown care. RNs are expected to handle a variety of clinical responsibilities and adapt to different departments as needed. Familiarity with the EPIC charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care adhering to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient status and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

Current RN license is required. Experience in acute care settings, particularly in stepdown units, is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• Valid RN license to practice in the state of West Virginia.
