Schedule/Shift

Weekend shift required every 2 weeks. Shifts are 3 days a week from 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM.

Job Description

This position involves providing care to adult patients in a Step Down unit. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing care to adult patients in a Step Down unit
• Administering medications and monitoring patient progress
• Conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
• Collaborating with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Utilizing EPIC for documentation and charting

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior charge experience preferred
• Experience with a patient ratio of 5:1

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• CPI certification preferred
• OCN and ONS/ONCC certifications preferred
