12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the 7 West Stepdown/MedSurg unit. This position involves caring for patients with a variety of common diagnoses, including chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, and more. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients and administering medications and treatments as required, utilizing telemetry and working closely with a charge nurse and nurse aids.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown and MedSurg setting.
• Monitor vital signs and assess patients' health status.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Required Experience

Previous experience in a MedSurg or Stepdown setting is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory unless an exemption is approved.
