Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the 7 West Stepdown/MedSurg unit. The unit consists of 32 total beds, including stepdown and floor patients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to a typical MedSurg population, including patients with chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, UTI, and other medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care to those in stepdown and MedSurg settings.
- Monitor and titrate medication drips as necessary in the stepdown unit.
- Collaborate with telemetry monitor techs and read telemetry strips.
- Assist in transitioning patients to hospice care as needed.
Required Experience
Prior experience in a stepdown/MedSurg unit is preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification required.
