Day and Night shifts available: 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30).

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Stepdown Unit. You will have the opportunity to provide critical care for patients post-ventilation and those requiring close monitoring. RNs may float to additional units as necessary, ensuring high-quality patient care across settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Stepdown Unit.
• Monitor patient health status and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in a Stepdown or similar specialty.
• Current Ohio RN License or Compact License in hand.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication practices.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for.
