Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a large cardiac population and the chance to float across various inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU setting.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
• Assist with various procedures related to patient care in the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care PCU experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
• Prior experience with Meditech preferred.
• Candidates with chemo certification are highly regarded.
