ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg (Night Shift) in Maryville, Tennessee.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 Night shifts (18:45 - 07:15) with weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg unit. The role may require floating to like units based on skill set and is expected to handle a patient ratio of 6:1. The work also entails the use of Omnicell for medication administration and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as per prescribed protocols using Omnicell.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in the management of various medical conditions, including colostomy and ileostomy care.
• Perform central line blood draws and maintain IV access.
• Provide patient education and support to promote health and recovery.

Required Experience

• Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg unit.
• 1 year of experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS is mandatory.
