ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Lufkin, Texas.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The shift is 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Note that shifts may vary depending on cases, with the possibility of early starts around 6 AM. Call is required two days a week as the first or backup and one weekend per month (Friday to Sunday).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to manage the sterile and non-sterile environment, ensuring patient care, safety, and workflow throughout the perioperative period. You will be responsible for circulating in various surgical specialties including General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics.

Responsibilities

• Manage sterile and non-sterile environments in the Operating Room.
• Coordinate patient care, safety, and workflow across the perioperative period.
• Function as a confident circulator and assist in scrubbing for procedures.
• Cover various surgical specialties as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated surgical experience.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
