ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Rockport, Maine.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

36 hours per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call shifts required, including one weeknight call per week (4:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and one weekend call every 6 to 7 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room of a 100-bed community hospital, providing care for surgical patients. This role emphasizes teamwork, with an expectation for all team members to assist with room turnovers and support each other. Experience in a smaller facility's operating room is preferred, and familiarity with multiple surgical service lines is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to surgical patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in room turnovers and maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operating Room setting, with at least 5 years of circulating experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required for on-call duties.
