Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have pediatric experience in a hospital setting and a strong background in pediatric oncology nursing. Duties include providing care to patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor pediatric patients in an oncology setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, procedures, and care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• APHON certification for oncology nursing is preferred.
• Experience in pediatric nursing, particularly in oncology.
