Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR)

Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care in the Operating Room (OR) setting, specifically in various specialties including ENT for both adults and pediatrics, Facial Plastics, and General Surgery. The RN will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans for surgical patients.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as per doctor’s orders.
• Monitor patient condition pre- and post-operatively.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families before and after surgery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid RN license.

Holiday Expectations

The RN must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
