ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Oncology (Day Shift) in Matthews, North Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Full-time, 8-hour Day Shift from 07:45 to 17:15, with no weekends required. There is no call requirement, and you may float between the Matthews and Ballantyne Clinics.

Job Description

This role involves providing care to adult patients with hematology and medical oncology conditions. You will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and caring for central lines. The clinic currently has 10 infusion chairs to accommodate social distancing, and you will work with systems such as Pyxis and Epic for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage central line care.
• Document care and medications accurately using the Epic system.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including IV teams and pharmacy.
• Participate in patient screenings as required.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of oncology-specific experience is required. The clinic will also accept first-time travelers.

Certifications/Licensure

• BCLS certification is required.
• ONS Chemo/Bio Card is a must.
• Preferred certification: OCN.
