Job Description
The position requires a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join the team at the cancer center. You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing treatments within the Radiation Oncology department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support during radiation therapy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and responses during procedures.
- Administer chemotherapy as per protocols.
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
- Educate patients and families on treatment processes and care needs.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Oncology is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Chemotherapy Certification.
