Night shift, 3 × 12 hour shifts, 36 hours/week.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the NICU II will provide care to high-risk neonates, assist in high-risk deliveries, and manage complex care situations that may involve ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tubes, chest tubes, central lines/PICC, syringe pumps, and blood administration.
Responsibilities
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal support.
- Manage care for patients on ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory supports.
- Administer and monitor medications via syringe pumps and blood administration.
- Handle feeding tubes, chest tubes, and central lines/PICC effectively.
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, ensuring quality care.
- Float to LDRP and Antepartum as necessary.
Required Experience
- Current RN license with BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Experience in a NICU setting or equivalent critical care experience.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid Pennsylvania RN license.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
