Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work primarily on a Telemetry unit focusing on patient care for individuals with orthopedic and bariatric needs. The role encompasses medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and patient management practices.
Responsibilities
- Administer medication and manage patient care plans.
- Conduct telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Provide oversight for patient safety and isolation precautions.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and follow patient protocols.
- Manage the care of patients with central lines and blood products.
- Float to other units or hospitals if required by census demands.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year of EPIC experience.
- Telemetry unit experience preferred; orthopedic and bariatric experience required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current South Carolina RN license.
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
