ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Day Shift) in Charleston, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

The selected candidate will provide care for cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry patients in a 32-bed unit. The role involves utilizing the Cerner charting system and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver the highest standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the Cerner system.
• Assist with complex procedures and interventions as needed.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS/BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Valid WV or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted for submission).
