ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Night Shift) in Charleston, West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

3x12 hour night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM), weekdays, and every other weekend. Float required as needed.

Job Description

The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit consists of 32 beds, providing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions including cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary issues. The unit supports both telemetry and general nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings.
• Administering medications and treatment as per physician’s orders.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Documenting patient information accurately in the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the medical-surgical or telemetry specialty.
• Experience working in a Level IV trauma center is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current West Virginia RN License or compact state license (pending license accepted).
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required.
