Schedule/Shift

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit. The RN will collaborate with healthcare team members, perform assessments, administer medications, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Required Experience

• At least 12 months of recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with charge responsibilities is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Must obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
