Job Description
The Med Surg Telemetry unit at Southern Maine Health Care has 56 beds with patient ratios of 1:4-5 for days and 1:5-6 for nights for RNs, and 1:8-10 days and 1:10-12 nights for CNAs. The team works with electronic medical records using Epic.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a general Med Surg Telemetry setting.
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience.
- Active Maine RN license.
- BLS certification.
Certifications/Licensure
- Required: BLS.
- Preferred: ACLS.
