Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality health care services. The role involves direct patient assessment, implementation of physician orders, medication administration, and patient education. The RN will utilize a charting system and must be familiar with patient care processes in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the MS/Tele unit
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Conduct patient assessments and chart progress
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain patient safety and implement infection control measures

Required Experience

1 year of combined permanent experience in nursing, preferably within the medical-surgical or telemetry specialty.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
