Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of permanent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• One professional reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is mandatory.
