Nights with a rotating schedule, from 19:00 to 07:00.
Job Description
This role involves the care of patients who meet the Medicine or Med Tele admission criteria. The nurse will work in a complex med/surg unit that requires higher levels of proficiency due to the nature of the patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the med/surg and telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg Tele experience.
- Higher level of proficiency due to the complexity of the med/surg unit.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only.
