Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical/Surgical-Telemetry specialty for our Med/Surg 232 unit. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 137-bed acute care hospital that is a Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center. The facility offers a range of services including cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, OBGYN, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages in the Med/Surg unit.
- Utilize Cerner for electronic health record management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient assessments, care planning, and education.
Required Experience
1-2 years of nursing experience is required.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN licensure to practice in North Carolina.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Lifesaver).
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- CPI/HWC/MAB (Crisis Prevention Institute/Health and Wellness Coaching/Management of Aggressive Behavior).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
