Med/Surg Oncology RN - Night Shift (18:45 - 07:15)

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).

Job Description

The Med/Surg Oncology RN will provide care for patients receiving chemotherapy. Candidates must be either chemotherapy certified or willing to obtain the required certification. Onsite training will be provided to help staff navigate the certification process.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection.
• Monitor patients post-chemotherapy.
• Perform Med/Surg nursing duties, including colostomy care, central line management, and various patient assessments.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and wound care protocols.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Valid BLS certification required.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Administration preferred; must be willing to obtain certification if not already certified.
• Experience with IV access, blood product administration, and central line management required.
