Registered Nurse - Ortho Unit (Nights)

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P Rotation with 36 and 48 hours available per week. Must work at least 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week. Flexibility is required according to the needs of the facility's schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Orthopedic Unit. This position requires strong nursing skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an orthopedic unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Required to float to other units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent acute medical-surgical, telemetry, neuro, and ortho nursing experience.
• Active New York RN license.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and AHA BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience is required for non-U.S. candidates.
