Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit
Schedule
This position requires NIGHTS - 12 hour shifts with a rotation of 7 PM to 7 AM and 7 AM to 7 PM. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week are available. Candidates are expected to work one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other week, as well as at least one holiday during the contract.

This is a 16-week contract position.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be working in the Orthopedic unit (SE6), providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for effective care planning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using EPIC charting.
- Participate in patient education and support.
- Float to other units as needed based on facility requirements.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute med-surg/telemetry, neurology, and orthopedic nursing.
- Active New York RN license, NIH and AHA BLS certifications are required.
- 2 years of U.S. work experience is mandatory for non-U.S. candidates.
