Registered Nurse - Med/Tele - Nights
Schedule
Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours available per week. One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.
Job Description
Join our team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, which has 37 beds. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Charge nurse experience is requested but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
- Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information using EPIC charting.
- Be flexible in floating to other units as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry.
- A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
- Active New York RN license.
- AHA BLS certification.
Duration
This is a 16-week contract position.
