Registered Nurse - Nights - Med/Tele Complex Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A. Shifts available: 36 or 48 hours per week with a requirement of 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Med/Tele Complex Care unit, responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of medical and complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced medical-surgical/telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Float to other units as needed and take charge when required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
