Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of weekends, with shifts being Day 4x12-Hour from 07:00 to 19:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will focus on providing patient-centered care in the Medical-Surgical unit. Experience with Epic charting and travel nursing is required. The nurse may be expected to float between sister facilities and must comply with specific organizational policies regarding holidays and requested time off.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical-surgical conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high standards of care.
• Utilize Epic for documentation and patient charting.
• Implement isolation precautions and manage PPE as needed.
• Administer medications and manage oxygen therapy, including the use of nasal cannulas and tanks.
• Participate in rapid response and code team activities as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, including charge nurse experience.
• Experience in a medical-surgical unit is preferred.
• Travel nursing experience is mandatory.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
• BLS certification required.
