Schedule/Shift
This position requires working Night Shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with floating between units as needed.
Job Description
The selected Registered Nurse will provide care in the Medical-Surgical unit, which consists of a total of 72 beds across two floors. The nurse will utilize Cerner as the electronic medical record (EMR) system and will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Perform patient assessments and evaluations.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
- Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in the EMR.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical-Surgical setting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of the start date.
